Company History
From our humble beginnings in New Zealand, Blueseventy has always punched above its weight. We never allow our size to stop us from developing world-class products, or to shy away from competition. Like the world champions we support, you are only as good as your competition, and your competition should always drive you to achieve greater things.
During our first 15 years, as Ironman Wetsuits, the design team went by the name 'Blue Seventy'. Spending countless hours with the world's best swimmers and triathletes to develop wetsuits with one simple goal in mind: make swimmers faster.
In 2006, Ironman Wetsuits became Blueseventy. The product to introduce the brand: the Helix Wetsuit. It was and continues to be a revelation. The results? Indisputable. Just look through the images over the past years and you will see one wetsuit has defined the sport, led more races, and created more champions than any other.
Today, Blueseventy is proud to bring to the market of triathlon and open water swimming a wide range of products from wetsuits for all types of water, from warm tropical waters to the frigid Canadian winter, including a wide range of thermal accessories and race day essentials.
Our design philosophy is based on fine-tuning the perfect fit for a wide range of body types, including women-specific models, all made using eco-friendly, highly durable Yamamoto neoprene in order to reduce our environmental footprint.
Additionally, Blueseventy products are distributed in Canada by a Canadian-based company, ensuring that Canadian athletes have access to the highest quality gear tailored to their specific needs and conditions.
